The product is only sold to businesses that sell to other businesses.
This is the first sales person we have hired for this role. That is a big plus but also a big negative.
We are looking for this person to quickly identify which markets are accepting of this technology then develop and implement a plan of attack.
Right now our sales model looks like this:
- sign up for a free trial
- follow up prospect to be sure prospect was able to install our service
- help customer use product and understand value proposition
- close prospect for paid sale before the free trial runs out.
- once installed and running product has very little support.
- once paid this gives us opportunity to sell our SEO and PPC services.
We are looking for someone that has used this sale model in the past.
- Entreprenurial
- Self starter
- Experience selling hosted software
- Experince selling a subscription model
- Basic understanding of internet technologies a must.
- Work with bus trusted advisors such as webmasters.
- Comfortable selling to sales managers.
- This is not an expensive product but the compensation plan is lucrutive.
Experience selling search engine optimization, pay per click or website design a big plus.
we are a small company, so this self-starter should be comfortable in a small company environment.
