Tightrope Interactive, a San Francisco based search engine marketing firm is looking for a PPC/SEM/Social Media Online Marketing Manager. The online marketing manager will govern/assist in the daily management of various pay-per-click campaigns on Yahoo!, Google, Ask, MSN, Faceboook, MySpace, and various other media outlets. All of our campaigns are direct marketing oriented and revolve around lead generation for various industries. A strong analytical mind is a must.
You will be working within a small team of highly experienced professionals. Success will be determined by growth of accounts, increase in quality of leads, process improvements, and profit margin.
Daily Job Tasks:
- Use creativity and data analysis to produce new ad copy and keywords.
- Monitor and optimize various SEM campaigns.
- Adjust bids.
- Create new versions of landing pages, ad copy, and keyword lists.
- Build category specific and geo-targeted campaigns.
- Determine budget projections.
- Day-to-day contact with clients.
- Work with engineering and design teams to produce web pages based on SEM data.
- Do market research to understand the psychology of a potential user. Stay on top of news media.
Qualifications Required:
- Basic knowledge of pay per click advertising with experience on each platform.
- Knowledge of popular media (ie, TV, radio, magazines).
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytic mindset.
- Basic HTML coding skills, PHP skills a plus.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- 1-5 years experience with paid search and/or client management.
- Problem identifier and solver.

- SEO knowledge.
- Affiliate Management experience.
- Email or banner media buying experience.
- AdWords certified.
- Yahoo Search professional certified.
- Facebook advertising experience.
- Photoshop experience.
